Artemide rice is an integral rice type, with long tapered grains and an intense aroma. It is cultivated in Piedmont, in Novara’s inland, in La Mondina estate, according to traditional methods and respecting nature. When cooked, it releases a pleasant aroma almost like that of freshly baked bread; it is rich in anthocyanins, iron and selenium, with antioxidant properties. Ideal for risotto and cold salads, it is perfect with fish, seafood and shellfish, but it excellent only if seasoned with our Taggiasco extra virgin olive oil and Parmigiano Reggiano PDO Cheese. It needs a long enough cooking (at least 35 minutes). A trick to shorten the time: soak the rice for at least three hours will reduce the cooking time.
